Privacy policy
Regular Reminders is run by DUNK Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 05285457, registered office Stanway House, Woodlands, Bristol, BS32 4QH, VAT number GB135570321 . This page explains what we collect, why, and who else handles it. If anything is unclear, email hello@dunkdigital.com.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, and a password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Your reminders: titles, notes, dates, repeat rules and categories.
- Your settings: time zone, the hour you want your email, and, only if you turn weather on, a city name.
- Subscription status. We do not see or store your card number. Stripe handles that.
What we use it for
- To send you the daily email you signed up for (the service you asked for).
- To take payment and manage your subscription.
- To keep the service secure and working, for example spotting failed or bouncing emails.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else handles your data
- Mailgun delivers our emails (EU region). It receives your email address and the email content.
- Stripe processes payments and holds billing records.
- OpenWeatherMap receives the city name if you turn weather on, to fetch the forecast. It does not receive your name or email.
- Krystal hosts the service.
- Bunny Fonts serves the typefaces on our pages, so your browser contacts it when a page loads.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. You can do that from your profile page. It removes your account and reminders and cancels any active subscription. Stripe may keep billing records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or erase your data, or object to how it is used, by emailing hello@dunkdigital.com. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Unsubscribing
Every email has an unsubscribe link. It stops the daily email straight away. It does not cancel a paid plan; use Manage billing on your dashboard for that.
